I’ve got my new Pals for the Harry Potter Swap and I’m so excited. Tomorrow is pay day and I’m going shopping. I love the Ravenclaw colors so this will be a blast!! As for my Questionnaire:
1. I’m a Gryffindor 2. I use double pointed bamboo needles but I’d like to learn to knit socks on 2 circulars. 3. Addie Turbos are too expensive 4. I’m not a Ravenclaw but I need to know what my Ravenclaw prefers – film or book colors? 5. I have no allergies, I’m easy.
Harry Potter Sock Swap August 28, 2007
I have just joined the Harry Potter Sock Swap and I am very excited. I am in Gryffindor so I am looking for some good crimson and gold colored yarn. I like to listen to the Secrets of Harry Potter podcast as I really read the books much deeper and appreciate the writing of JKR so much more.

It’s a good day. I received the name of the person for whom I will buy in the Knit1Tea2 swap. I am organizing a knitting group for the coffee shop on Thursday. And I made a cute little hat from left over Noro yarn.

I start back to work on Monday so this is my last weekend of summer vacation. Last night, I discovered Craftlit podcast which is for readers who knit. What a great idea to listen to audiobooks while you knit.
Knit1Tea2 August 4, 2007
Just signed up for the Knit1Tea2 swap which sounds like such a great idea. I look forward to preparing my box of goodies. Today was such a beautiful summer day and I was able to figure out how to do the toe up socks. I’ll finish this beautiful pair but I don’t know if I see the advantage of this toe up method. I had to go on line to figure out the Eastern Cast on method. Very complicated.
